Kamikaze Attack – “Boots Zero” (14oz Indigo, One‑Wash)

Boots Zero is Kamikaze Attack’s cult boot‑cut — a silhouette built deliberately for people who live in substantial footwear. The denim is a 14oz indigo cloth woven slowly at low tension, giving it a soft vertical grain and a slightly uneven texture. The fabric is unsanforised, but each pair is one‑washed at the workshop to remove the major shrink and stabilise the fit.

The indigo tone is rich and understated, designed to fade with patience. The flare at the hem encourages long, expressive vertical streaks, and the lighter 14oz weight helps the leg drape cleanly over boots without stiffness or collapse.

Every pair is cut and sewn entirely in‑house at the Kamikaze Attack workshop in Kojima. Production is intentionally slow — reduced loom speed, careful handling, and a refusal to outsource any part of the process. It’s denim made the traditional way, by a small team who still work one garment at a time.

The silhouette is what defines Boots Zero. It begins with a slim top block that sits close without feeling restrictive. The thigh is straight and balanced, giving the jean a clean line from the hip to the knee. Below the knee, the pattern opens into a controlled boot flare — and unlike traditional selvedge boot‑cuts, both the inseam and outseam are flared. This is intentional: Kamikaze Attack removes the selvedge constraint so the outseam can move, curve, and open up. The result is a symmetrical flare that sits naturally over Chelseas and Country Boots, and anything with a substantial profile. No forced straight lines. No locked selvedge edge. Just a boot‑cut designed to work with the boot, not against it.

This is a highly limited run. Restocks won’t be until at least Autumn 2027.

Fit Notes

Boots Zero has a slim top block, a straight thigh, and a controlled flare below the knee. Because both seams open up, the hem sits cleanly over boots without bunching or collapsing. We recommend sizing up one size from your normal western size.

Because the denim is unsanforised but one‑washed, shrinkage is minimal going forward. Expect only small changes depending on washing method and batch variation.

Kamikaze Attack is a garage workshop in Kojima with a punk heart and a sense of humour that runs through everything they make. Kanazawa‑san and Noriko work at their own pace — slow, stubborn, and entirely in‑house. They don’t chase trends, they don’t chase volume, and they certainly don’t chase restock schedules. When a batch is finished, it’s finished. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
