Exceptional Japanese denim has always been central to what we do, and we're proud to begin our relationship with The Strike Gold through their flagship fabric: Keep Earth.

Regarded by enthusiasts as one of the most characterful denims produced in Japan today, Keep Earth embodies everything that has made The Strike Gold a cult favourite amongst serious collectors. Rich slub, pronounced texture and remarkable ageing potential combine to create a fabric that feels distinctly alive from the first wear.

For our first delivery, we've secured access to the final production run of the Keep Earth in what we believe is the most versatile and Western-friendly silhouette in the range: the Classic Straight. Offering comfort through the top block and a clean straight leg, it delivers all the character of Strike Gold's flagship fabric in a silhouette that feels timeless and easy to wear.

Kamikaze Attack are exactly the kind of makers I want on the Kuroto rail — a tiny workshop in Kojima doing things their own way, with humour, stubbornness and a kind of punk honesty you don't see anywhere else. Everything is small‑batch, hand‑finished, unsanforised but one washed. The Mach Kamikaze comes in their 14.2oz selvedge extra‑long‑staple Zimbabwe cotton — a fibre that gives the denim a clean, slightly springy feel and the kind of long, elegant fades you only get from high‑tension shuttle‑loom weaving. The Home Run Kamikaze brings a classic straight silhouette in a 15.3oz weight that feels right from day one, while Boots ZERO leans into their cult boot‑cut pattern — a shape you almost never see done properly anymore in 14oz pure indigo dyed denim. Three different attitudes, three different fits, one uncompromising approach to quality and craftmanship.

We've also brought in a handful of their graphic tees — the ones that carry the workshop humour you only understand once you've seen where these pieces are made. They're part of the story, part of the personality, and part of why KA have such a loyal following in Japan. Everything here is produced in genuinely tiny quantities, and once it's gone, it won't be restocked for at least twelve months. This is a tight, rare slice of one of Kojima's most distinctive independent makers — a debut drop that sets the tone for what Kuroto is going to be.
